Weaving the Past: Journey of Discovery is highlighted in this segment about the Museum of Social Justice for the television show “Vista LA”, produced and broadcast by KABC/Channel 7 in Los Angeles.
Emilio N. Hernandez, the central figure in Weaving the Past, had a deep connection to La Plaza Methodist Church at Olvera Street as one of its founders. Social justice programs to help LA’s struggling immigrants beginning one hundred years ago has been the continuing focus of this historic church.
